About the event
The Elbert County Planning Committee, Inc. invites the community to gather for the 32nd Annual Martin Luther King, Jr. Ecumenical Banquet on Saturday, January 17, 2026 at 6:00 p.m.
This evening will honor the life, legacy, and enduring vision of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. through reflection, unity, and shared commitment to one another. With the theme Honoring the Past, Shaping the Future, the program will feature speakers representing the rich diversity of Elbert County Comprehensive High School, lifting up voices that remind us why Dr. King’s work still matters today.
Together, we will celebrate how far we have come, acknowledge the work that remains, and recommit ourselves to building a future rooted in justice, dignity, and community. All are welcome to join in this meaningful night of remembrance, hope, and purpose.
